EXTRAordinary Lesson 5 Activity
Marigold has spent so much of her story noticing what everyone else has, does, and seems to know about themselves. By the end, she realizes she doesn’t need to have every answer about herself. What she likes, what she’s good at, and even how she feels will continue to change as she grows. But she knows where to look for what is true: to the God who made her, knows her, loves her, and calls her His.
The KNOWN Zipper Pouch gives girls a fun way to make that truth their own. They’ll personalize their pouches with the colors, letters, patches, and details they love, while KNOWN remains the one thing every pouch shares. Long after the study ends, the pouch can hold pencils or treasures while reminding them that they don’t have to have themselves figured out to know who they are. My prayer is that girls remember: I don’t have to have all the answers. I can trust the One who never changes.
