Being Brave Lesson 1 Activity
Much like Elle, how we appear on the outside can look very different from how we feel on the inside. As the story begins, we meet Elle and find out that she worries about big things, small things, but really about all things. The best way she knows to protect herself is to be as prepared as possible so no new situation can catch her off guard. Life tends to throw surprises our way all the time and what Elle will soon learn is that she does not have to worry about which protective gear to put on, God’s Word and God’s armor is all she needs and it is really very easy to put on and keep on.
This activity will have your group spinning for answers and the best part is, the answer is always God’s true Word. Mindset is something our culture talks about and this will help us get our mind in the right place with the saying, ” I Choose Not To Worry…” followed by a beautiful and true Bible verse that tells them why. Speaking God’s truth over each other and ourselves is the best way to keep God’s armor on all the time. We have a choice about how we handle what life throws at us and when we choose God, we will feel the courage and peace that only He can provide.
