God On The Go

The Other Side Of No Lesson 5 Activity

Throughout this study, Chloe discovered that every time she paused, prayed, and trusted God instead of following her first reaction, she found something better waiting on the other side. What once felt like a list of frustrating “no’s” became opportunities to love God, love others, and experience His goodness. By the end of her journey, Chloe realized that God’s commands weren’t meant to hold her back, they were always leading her toward His very best.

As the girls create their crossbody bags, encourage them to think of each item as a reminder they can carry with them. The sunglasses remind them to see the world through God’s eyes, the Bible verse card points them back to His truth, the bracelet reminds them that Jesus is always with them, and the patches make each bag uniquely their own. My prayer is that every time they reach for this bag, they’ll remember that God’s “yes” is always worth trusting and that they can shine His light wherever they go.
