The Other Side Of No Lesson 4 Activity
By the end of today’s story, Chloe realized something incredible. All ten of God’s commandments could be summed up with just two simple ideas: Love God. Love Others. Every time she paused to pray, God helped her see beyond the rule itself to the loving heart behind it. Whether she was obeying her parents, telling the truth, or choosing kindness, she wasn’t just following rules, she was learning to love the way God loves.
Today you’re creating a heartfelt headband. As you choose your favorite colors and decorations, remember that this isn’t just something fun to wear, it’s a reminder of the two greatest commandments Jesus gave us. Every time you put it on, let it remind you to ask yourself:
How can I love God today? AND How can I love someone else today?
When you keep those two questions at the front of your mind, all the other choices begin to fall into place. Just like Chloe discovered, God’s commands aren’t meant to make life harder, they help us become more like Jesus.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
