Leader Welcome Note
Your faithfulness matters more than you know.
Welcome, Leaders!
First of all…thank you.
Thank you for saying “yes” to investing in the lives of children. Whether you’ve been leading Bible studies for years or this is your very first time, I’m so grateful you’re here.
My prayer is that these Story & Study Leader Companions give you the confidence to spend less time wondering what to do next and more time enjoying the children God has placed in front of you.
As a former classroom teacher, I’ve learned that children rarely remember every activity or every answer. What they do remember is how they felt. They remember being welcomed. They remember laughing. They remember feeling safe enough to ask questions. Most importantly, they remember being consistently pointed to Jesus.
That’s the heart behind these studies.
Each lesson follows the same rhythm, making it easy for both new and experienced leaders to know what comes next. Think of these guides as a companion rather than a script. If wonderful conversations unfold, don’t be afraid to linger. If an activity takes a little longer than expected, that’s okay too. The goal isn’t to rush through every page, it’s to help children know God, love His Word, and leave excited to come back.
Thank you for opening your home, serving at your church, volunteering your time, or simply saying yes to wherever God has called you to lead. Your faithfulness matters more than you know.
I’m so grateful you’re here.
Thank you for investing in the next generation and for faithfully pointing children toward Jesus. My prayer is that these companions equip and encourage you as you lead and that along the way, God encourages your heart too.
With gratitude,
Abigail Davis
