Game Plan: PRAY. FLIP. GO.

The Flip Side Lesson 5 Activity

In this final lesson, George discovers that following God isn’t just about obeying rules, it’s about learning to trust that God’s way is always better. As he faces everyday moments that make him want to complain, lose his temper, or do things his own way, he remembers to Pray. Flip. Go. Little by little, he begins to see that every “no” has a better “yes” waiting on the flip side. George realizes that God’s commands don’t hold him back, they lead him into the full life God wants for him.

Children will decorate a ceramic game/wood video game controller that serves as a reminder to Pray. Flip. Go. Just as George learned to pause before making a choice, the controller reminds them that they are in control of how they respond each day. They’ll label the buttons with Pray, Flip, and Go. Every time they see it, they’ll remember that with God’s help, they can pause, consider the flip side of their choices, and confidently choose what is right.
