The Flip Side Lesson 4 Activity
As George continues practicing Pray. Flip. Go., he begins to discover that every one of God’s commands has a purpose. Whether he’s choosing honesty, obeying his parents, showing kindness, or resisting temptation, George learns that God’s rules aren’t meant to keep him from what’s good, they’re meant to lead him toward what’s best. Little by little, choosing God’s way becomes easier as he learns to pause, pray, and look for the flip side.
Boys will create their own Trailblazer Training Jar as a reminder that following Jesus is something we practice every day. They will decorate their jars with reminder phrases and a color code. Throughout the week they will add a color coded bead each time they show love to God, show love to others, and whenever they remember to Pray. Flip. Go. As the jar fills, they’ll have a visual reminder that God grows us one faithful choice at a time.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”
